Mechanical Doping

Posted by 2 on

It is with great shock and sadness that we have to report that our beloved mechanic, Jesse James has been suspended by the CAS for a period of two years for a failed b-sample in the repair of one Murray "the Animal's" bicycle.  While the Animal could not be reached for comment, James had this to say.

"First off I would like to apologize to my family, friends and co-workers who have supported me throughout this trying period.  After much deliberation I have decided to come clean in hopes that my actions can convince other mechanics to admit that doping is rampant in the back shop.  The pressure and pace of repairs is becoming super human, and with the addition of having to be a certified electrician with these new-fangled drive trains I succumbed to the pressure in an effort to stay ahead of the curve.  It was a gross misstep and one that I am truly sorry for.

I hope to return to the ranks of the elite mechanics one day, but know that I will be fixing bikes whether certified or not, it is my only love."

We at Blacksmith Cycle fully support and will continue to support Jesse James on his road to recovery, and accept his apology whole-heartedly.
