The Polymer Workshop® Transit Saddlebag is a compact, performance-driven storage solution designed for modern riding. Mounted securely to saddle rails, the bag utilizes a precision dial retention system for a clean and stable attachment. At 41 g, the saddlebag offers a lightweight, medium-capacity solution suitable for carrying an inner tube or a tubeless repair kit, maintaining a refined and unobtrusive profile under the saddle. A full-length zipper enables direct access to essentials without removing the bag from the bike, allowing for seamless interaction during rides while maintaining a minimal setup. The saddlebag is constructed from three core materials, each selected for its specific performance characteristics. A durable and waterproof outer shell, an ultra-light and high-strength interior lining, and reinforced structural panels for longevity and stability. This layered construction ensures long-term performance under demanding riding conditions. Due to the mechanical dial system, the bag is not intended for prolonged exposure to heavy rain or extreme weather conditions.

Layered Construction

The saddlebag combines three high-performance materials: X-Pac® VX21 Shell Fabric A technical laminate with low stretch and high dimensional stability. VX21 features a 210D nylon face, waterproof PET film, and X-Ply® reinforcement, delivering an optimal balance of weight, durability, and weather protection. Dyneema® Mesh 3-GD026 Lining A lightweight mesh integrating Dyneema® fibers in a grid structure. Exceptionally strong for its weight, with high tear and abrasion resistance, ensuring long-term durability while keeping overall weight minimal. 0.6 mm Hypalon® Reinforcement Panels Strategically placed in high-wear areas, Hypalon® provides superior abrasion resistance, UV stability, and grip. Its rubberized surface enhances durability and prevents unwanted movement during riding.

Easy Access System

The dial-based retention system allows for quick adjustment and a secure hold, while the zipper opening provides direct access to stored items without removing the bag from the saddlerails. This combination ensures efficient usability with minimal disruption during rides.

Essential Capacity

Designed as a minimal saddlebag, it accommodates essential repair gear without excess bulk. Suitable for carrying an inner tube, tire levers, CO₂, or a complete tubeless repair kit with a compact electronic pump, while maintaining a clean and minimal silhouette.
