Bike of the Day #1 - Cannondale SuperSix HiMod

Posted by 2 on

Some people ask us: how can we be certain that we are selling the world's finest bikes? The answer: we have ridden almost everything on the market, and carefully chosen our brands. In that spirit, and before the snow hits the ground, we will be posting a "Bike of the Day" each day for the next month or so. Some of these are bikes we sell, while others are not. But hopefully they'll provide some enjoyable eye candy for you, and some useful information as well. Bike of the Day #1 - 2011 Cannondale SuperSix HiMod The Details: 2011 Cannondale SuperSix Hi-Mod - Size 58 - 13.8 lbs complete The Build: Dura Ace 7900 with Hollowgram SL crankset and 3T bar, stem and post The Ratings... Ride-quality/Comfort: 6/10 Front-end Stiffness: 9/10 BB Stiffness: 8/10 Style/Aesthetics: 8/10 Technology/Weight/Value:  7/10 Total = 38/50  The Good: Solid stiffness, Pro Tour visibility, cool matte paint job, awesome crankset and tapered headtube. The Bad: Limited sizing options (no extended head-tube model), ubiquitous, no internal cable routing, and rides like a brick shit-house. The Skinny: Solid carbon race bike for those who want to emulate Team Liquigas and don't really care if their bike is a bit on the harsh side. New '12 Evo aims to fix this.
