The Ratings… Ride-quality/Comfort: 9/10 Front-end Stiffness: 8/10 BB Stiffness: 7/10 Style/Aesthetics: 7/10 Technology/Weight/Value:  7/10 Total = 38/50  The Good: Great comfort, stable handling, decent stiffness, hand-made, and quite a subtle look for an Italian bike. The Bad: Not all that light, no edgy technology (though the 2012 model features a tapered headtube and ISP), and not all that common. The Skinny: A lovely grand-fondo style bike from Carrera, for high-speed cruising and longer rides, though hard-core crit racers may want something more aggressive. We have a number of 2011 and 2012 Carrera bikes in stock, including the new hand-built Estremo Light, monocoque Veleno, lugged-steel Lima, entry-level Blade, leg-crushing new Erakle TS, and of course the tantalizing Phibra. Email info@blacksmithcycle.com for details or to arrange a test ride. Oh, and yes, we will feature a Campy bike tomorrow ;)
