I just got back into cycling after a 14 year hiatus, and am interested in a modern bike and comfort overall. I kept seeing videos to get a bike fit before putting down money on a new bike. Kevin who did the bike fit, took time to listen to me, measured me, and setup an ideal for me. He then further made adjustments on the old bike I came in on, and that alone has been worth it.
Any questions I had were answered, and he even helped me get into clipless shoes/pedals (something I had never used before) for my old bike. There was never a push to "sell" me anything, but rather to answer questions and accommodate any requests. It's been a bit over a week and the riding experience on my old bike has been vastly improved.
Best of all, whatever bike I end up choosing, Kevin/Blacksmith are good to help with providing details and adjustments for a fit, regardless if I buy my bike there; and they're good to have me come back to dial in the fit.
If you're interested in getting a better cycling experience, getting a bike fit with the folks at Blacksmith is my first recommendation.
